Before I make a smoothie, or start a crock pot, I wash everything with PH 2.5 (Hypochlorous Acid) then I wash everything with 11.5 (Strong Alkaline). Then I rinse everything with clean water. This gives me peace of mind that I'm taking care of any hidden issues with my food before I consume it. Not sure if this process would completely kill frozen Listeria. I not only do the above with my fruits and veggies, but also with my meats. I love having this peace of mind. This is one reason I believe, that once people understand what 2.5 and 11.5 are, that Enagic ionizers will start to hit main stream.
